Pupil & Community Engagement

DARE have helped schools to run a variety of pupil and community engagement activities to provide them the opportunity to participate with various issues including energy efficiency, climate change, heat loss, renewable energy and electric vehicles.

We have created tools and resources to help pupils conduct their own energy audits, assess current knowledge levels of pupils on environmental issues, conduct energy monitoring and national activities such as “Switch Off Fortnight”. We have helped schools run ECO days, involving outside agencies to provide enrichment activities related to water efficiency, waste and recycling, sustainable food and composting, as well as energy and climate change.

We have helped run events such as School Climate Change Summits and helped schools to form eco teams within their pupil community.
