DARE supports those with an interest in decentralised Renewable Energy (RE) in Devon, providing members with an information and advisory facility.  It assists project development, undertakes project management, and basic consultancy/feasibility work.  DARE influences local and regional policy development through a range of networks and working groups. It has three full time and two part time staff working on projects, plus the Directors.

DARE is respected and established as the only independent organisation in Devon which is dedicated to promoting and supporting the development of RE production and use.  Whilst it is vital that this work continues and expands, we operate without core funding or Government support, and rely almost entirely on membership subscriptions and project income.
